What actually is Longboard Dancing?

Longboard dancing is well, exactly what it sounds like. It’s a form of dancing done on a longboard. It was originally founded as a variation from doing certain steps on a surf longboard, but since its inception the term has grown to almost exclusively represent being done on a longboard with wheels.

But to those that practice it, we know it goes well beyond that. There’s intricate sequences of steps and turns that we do maintain momentum on the board while we’re in a constant S-Carve. If this is your first time hearing about longboard dancing, it is truly hard to describe it with just words. So it’d be in your best interest to actually just check out the two short videos below.
