[VIDEO] It’s Simple. It always has been

Last week we got to kick it for a couple days in Berlin’s legendary Tempelhof Airfield with some of the team riders from Simple Longboards.

For those who don’t know, Simple Longboards is based out of Austria, they produce hand-made, high quality longboards right here in Europe, and their team of pro-riders possesses some of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

In addition to being just amazing people, the team riders for simple can really shred. I had fun learning and laughing with them all the same.

We are Tempelhof

I’ve written about Tempelhofer Feld as a skate spot before, and this specific spot will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ve love spending hours and days here just meeting skaters from all over the world.

But the local crew they’re quickly growing into a second family for me, and it’s really a joy to just hang with those guys all day long.

So in this video I wanted to capture just that, the essence of Tempelhof. Riders of all backgrounds, styles, and levels just coming together to practice something we’re all so passionate about.

Berlin Outtakes

Here I just wanted to share some laughs of the weekend with everyone. Sometimes skating can really turn into a grind when you’re learning, and it’s important to remember that no one will ever stop learning in our sport.

Everyone messes up, everyone can fail a trick, what matters is we continue to support each other and we laugh a lot together along the way.

And I also wanted to ask everyone to take a moment to not forget the brave souls holding a camera in these videos haha, it seems that every session turns into the camera trying to avoid being decapitated by a longboard at some point.
